UND Internet Observatory #2 began construction during Summer 2007 and was completed during Summer 2008. It includes a 10-inch aperture Meade LX200 GPS Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with an SBIG-1301e CCD with broadband clear and BVRI filters. This instrument complement will support both astrometric and photometric research and will be used for course work in UND classes.
